It appeared to be calm for a while between North Korea and the US, but the myth has been busted by the latest developments.
It was last month when North Korean leader Kim Jong Un threatened to reduce the US to "ashes and darkness". The threat came in a reply to sanctions imposed by the UN. It looked like both the nations were ready for a war but thankfully nothing happened.
However, recently Trump took a dig at Kim Jong Un through his Twitter account.
Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me "old," when I would NEVER call him "short and fat?" Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!

If that was not enough, Donald Trump denounced North Korea's "cruel dictatorship" during his recent tour around Asia. This worked as the fuel in fire and left North Korea fuming.
As a response to Donald Trump, the people of North Korea have now announced a death sentence for the US president.
The ruling party newspaper Rodong Sinmun wrote-
"The worst crime for which he can never be pardoned is that he dared [to] malignantly hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership."
The editorial added-
"He should know that he is just a hideous criminal sentenced to death by the Korean people."
