No matter how much we talk about and shame the molesters on social media, the ground reality seems to be not changing anytime soon. As much as we discuss the crime against women, we get disheartened to see no action being taken against the offenders.

This carefree nature of nation's law institutes towards women has only encouraged the people who indulge in such heinous and unforgivable activities.

A new incident of female molestation has come forth and has proved to be a slap on the face of forces who stay extra worried about culture and tradition.

A Mumbai based lady noticed a man at Bhayander Railway Station while he was groping two girls. At first, she was not sure but when she noticed the man repeating the act with another girl, she decided to take the stand.

Within no time, she approached the second girl and offered to help her. Both of them together decided to take help from railway authorities but they suggested them to reach police station. To the shock of ladies, police also refused to help and told them to go to Railway Police Station.

The lady named Vaidahi More stated that by the time they will reach railway police station, the man will escape. Finally, a constable was sent to see the issue but he refused to chase the culprit as he escaped. Even after multiple attempts to convince the constable, there was no help.

As she saw no other way, the lady recorded a video message and posted it on Facebook. In the video, she narrated whole matter to the people. She has been quoted as saying by DNA-

"The policemen refused to nab the man and instead told me that we have other work to do. I came forward to fight after seeing the man molest other women. The attitude of police was pathetic and now I have decided that I will take the matter in my own hands and will attack men if they are found molesting women at public places."

As the video went viral, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Purshottam Karad of Western Zone, Government Railway Police got in touch with the woman and are now analysing the CCTV footage.

While it's a good news that finally the investigation has begun, there needs to be more assurity regarding women safety in this country. What are your thoughts on it?
